North Hills, Calif., has many gorgeous homes for rent for families of all sizes and interests. Located in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles, North Hills is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the metropolitan area. With access to all the amenities of the metropolitan region - from world-class transportation to a lauded police force - but with much of the character of a smaller community, North Hills is the ultimate neighborhood for any kind of family looking to rent.
Important Information North Hills Renters Should Know
North Hills has gone through several name changes over the years. When the Valley was originally mapped out, this area was known as Mission Acres. After World War II, however, the name of the neighborhood was changed to Sepulveda.
This community is surrounded by Northridge to the west, Panorama City to the East, Van Nuys to the south and Granada Hills to the north.
There are loosely defined borders for the neighborhood, but the city is largely bounded by Balboa Boulevard and Bull Creek - also known as "the wash" - to the west, Lassen Street to the north and Roscoe Boulevard to the South.
The North Hill West Neighborhood Council voted to make the neighborhood logo "tree in the city," while the slogan of this organization is "Fostering Community."
