Situated just 16 miles north of Dallas, Addison is a small town with a close community feel and big-city access and attractions. Settled in the 1840s and incorporated in 1953, Addison still has only about 14,000 restaurants. However, its daytime population reaches 100,000, and it offers people who live and/or work in the area lots of business space, parkland and over 170 restaurants to choose from. Additionally, Addison houses the third largest general aviation airport in the country.
With 15 parks and 118 acres of combined parkland, Addison is an ideal hometown for any outdoor enthusiast.
