The city of San Pablo is located in western Contra Costa County. It's approximately 20 miles north of San Francisco, and close to several other prominent cities including Berkeley, Oakland and Vallejo. As part of the fast-paced, economically thriving Bay Area, San Pablo is a great destination for those on the lookout for homes for rent in a region of California that's less sprawling than Los Angeles but every bit as interesting.
While not technically part of the Silicon Valley region, San Pablo is close enough to Palo Alto and San Jose that it's a reasonable commute for residents who want to work in the exciting tech sector and create a comfortable lifestyle for their families. Natural attractions abound, ranging from the San Francisco and San Pablo bays to the many parks, forests and nature preserves not far from the city limits. All in all, children and adults alike will find much to love about San Pablo.
