Things to Do in Milwaukie
Milwaukie has a whopping 18 parks where you can do everything from fishing (Riverfront Park) to playing tennis (Century Park). For families, nearly all of the parks have picnic areas, playgrounds or both, but they're by no means the only family-friendly attractions in the area. The North Clackamas Aquatic Park boasts a 29-foot rock wall, a wave pool and a wading pool, and provides the state's largest swim lesson program at one facility. In terms of yearly events, Milwaukie has a plethora, including the Umbrella Parade, Tree Lighting and Milwaukie Daze Parade and Festival.
