The house is a 4 bedroom, open floor plan, well laid out home on a nearly acre with a private driveway about 3 miles from the Southworth Ferry. Be in Seattle in minutes.
It has a water view of Yukon Harbor where you can watch Ferries and Navy ships, and occasional whales, pass by from the back elevated deck. The house has beautiful land and gardens.
Apple trees including a tri-color apple tree, pear trees, plum trees and cherry trees along with a strawberry patch in the yard. Pick Lavender, too.
4 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom, 2 car large garage with work desk. Open Floorplan inside with a Private Easement.
Beautiful view of the Puget Sound and Yukon Harbor with private flat shy acre. See the city lights in the distance. Just 3 minutes away from the Southworth Ferry. Be in Seattle in minutes. Walk to the beach or watch a Salmon run at Curley Creek.
It is listed as a split level on a nearly level acre lot with a water and city view. There is a seasonal creek running along one edge of the property. It has an open kitchen floor plan, with 3 bedrooms upstairs, including the master bedroom. It has one bedroom downstairs, a large washer and dryer room, a large bathroom and a great room along with a door to the large 2 car garage downstairs. We have used the great room downstairs for both a guest bedroom and as a second living room. The 2 car garage is extra wide and it has built in shelving and a large work desk. The home was built by a small custom builder. The house has a deck the length of the house on the upper floor facing the water.
And, one of our favorite things, besides the elementary school a block away, where you can play on the playgrounds and ride bikes along the hallways, is Curley Creek is one road over. There is a bridge over it that you can walk underneath. You can walk under all year long to explore the beach and tidal lagoon, but in August and September it has a healthy salmon run.
You can fish with the others during the six week spawn, taking 1 fish a day. It is a spectacular thing to see. The life cycle of the salmon change as you fish them too, with them looking very normal early in the spawn but towards the end their color changes and most oddly, their facial structure changes, with the mouth becoming hook shaped.
And, if you are new to the area. This might be the only home for you! It is a bright, open lot without trees that block the sunlight!!! A great place to walk outside in the open, clear air and to have sunlight inside your home.
Do not choose a home with high evergreen trees around the house as that will prevent the sun which may appear in the winter from coming into your home. Beware of dark lots if you are moving to the area. A kind bit of advice.
