There is limited* street parking near the building which requires key fob entry and has 24 hour security at both entrances. This place has everything you need and is truly a "home away from home" for a a one year temporary business relocation assignment, or for a work from home professional. Upon entry, you're greeted with a newly renovated and well designed kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with nearly everything you need to make almost any meal. Enjoy breakfast at the bar before heading into your room with a dedicated work space. The work area is stocked with supplies, a wireless printer, desk, and mood setting speaker. Just across the hall, the bathroom is stocked with a starter pack of amenities you need to get squeaky clean including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover wipes, and more. When you're ready for a break, lounge on the cozy sofa taking in the gorgeous lake view (the pictures do not do it justice), or sign into the 50 inch smart tv to binge watch your favorite shows. When you're ready to wind down for the evening, a comfortable queen size mattress is awaiting to take you in for a good night's rest and the smart TV is ready to go with all your favorite apps. If you're in the mood, feel free to access the community gym. You can also enjoy a sunny day on the deck which can be accessed via the building's community room. We understand that you will be busy while working from home and have included a professional cleaning with linen changes every month free of charge. If you would like cleaning more frequently, we are happy to arrange for an additional cost. There is a laundry mat, hair salon, convenience store, and dry cleaner all located on the property. There are many restaurants nearby available to order on third party platforms. Other nearby attractions include the South Shore Cultural Center and the highly anticipated Obama Library. As far as getting around, rideshare services are typically available within 3 minutes, and access to the #6 bus is steps away from the building (which goes to Hyde Park and Downtown). This place is perfect for anyone looking for extra space and a bang for your buck when traveling to Chicago for business or someone who simply wants a furnished place to work from home. We also welcome traveling medical professionals and appreciate your service :). We are 2-30 minutes from many major hospitals in the South Shore, Hyde Park, and Downtown areas. Note: the building charges a $1,500 non-refundable move-in fee. We have added a $1k move -in fee for the unit in lieu of an additional security deposit. We require a $50 application fee and the building requires a $75 application fee. Tenant Access Tenants have access to the entire unit except the small owner's hall closet. Utilities All utilities are included: water, electricity, heat, and wifi Other Things to Note All applications are subject to employment verification, soft credit check, background check, and require a signed one year lease and renters insurance. *A dedicated outdoor parking spot can be reserved for a monthly fee.
