Fun Facts for Future Renters
Don Antonio Lugo got a massive land grant in 1810 that covered much of Los Angeles County. After he died, his land was divided among his children. After one of his daughters got the land that is currently Lynwood, it was repeatedly sold until some of it was bought and 400 acres were turned into the Lynwood Dairy and Creamery.
Following the creamery's success, many other businesses and the railroad came through the community in the early 1900s. From there, suburban homes were built and the modern thriving community was created.
